Lucy's first photo shoot

So check out my son and daughter in law's puppy. Her name is Lucy and she is basically scared of me. So I attempted to warm up to her by putting her in her very own photo shoot. So whatcha think? I even put blue toe nail polish on her. Really what's going on is that Suzy (my daughter in law) is pushing me down the road to hopefully some better photography, so she suggested an editing program where I can dress things up or down or crazy. So anyway, heeeeere's Lucy! :)

With Age comes Graditude

I like many things about my age. I found that if I really want something I go ahead and get it, because "I'm worth it". I don't get so stuck on what others think as I no longer need anyone's approval. I have God's approval and that is enough! I really enjoy the little things in life and I actually "see" them. Like the perfect rose on a rose bush, my cat sprawled out belly side up and I can stick my face into her fluffy fur. The sound of my grandson playing by himself, making up characters and talking to them. My beautiful granddaughter's smile with one perfect tooth right dab in the middle. I have been blessed. Cheers!

shop, shop, shop

Today, we ventured out into the wide world of shopping. That daughter in Law on mine can power shop like no body's business :) We took little Lia Rose and she was such a trooper. I hope to get to the flea market tomorrow as I have my eye on these great boots. Great deals to be had by all!!
